So I've always loved paper piecing projects but couldn't understand how people were so good with all that cutting - I usually ended up cutting myself more than the paper. So recently I've been trying cutting files using the Silhouette Cameo and although I'm really slow at it I must say I enjoy putting all these little tiny pieces together! My inspiration has been Patty from Patty's Crafty Spot. Patty and I met while working in the same industry (she worked for an auto parts store and I worked for the districutor) and reconnected at a Copic class we took from Suzanne Dean at The Inspiration Station. Patty does amazing work both paper piecing and tear bears and she's been patient with all my million questions!!
So this is one of the first project I'm comfortable sharing.
This cutie is from Kristi W. Designs that I got through Kadoodle Bug Designs. I struggled with picture taking today, tried outside, inside, by the window, flash, no flash, OTT light, no light. Ugh is just wasn't working well today. I've had a nice relaxing day today, me and the pup have watched football all afternoon. I did manage to actually get some laundry done. Happy Sunday everyone!

Sad news...
The Stamping Boutique is closing! Myself and the other members of the Design Team are broken hearted but certainly understand. The store will be closing as of December 31st so head over and grab Tracey's gorgeous artwork while you can. Tracey is so talented and generous I'm going to miss the TSB family so much!

Christmas Card
I know this is a Crissy Armstrong image I think I got it through Whimsy Stamps.
Colored with Copics, I strung the little lights on some twine and then glued the twine down. Hope everyone is having a good week. I am so looking forward to this weekend to relax (hopefully)!!

December Already?
Holy cow time is flying right by. Last weekend was crazy went to NYC again for my annual trip with my BFF Patti. We always do one thing we've never done before each time we go, this time we went to the NYC Public Library and Bryant Park. The library was amazing, absolutely gorgeous. We had a great day of wandering, shopping and eating! Went to our beloved Carmine's and had an amazing meal. This weekend will be much quieter and I can't wait I haven't seen the inside of my craft room for two weeks and I'm starting to go a little crazy! Here is my card for the Stamping Boutique's latest challenge "Holiday Cards"

Inspired By Music
The latest challenge is up at The Stamping Boutique "Inspired By Music". I love music, I listen to all sorts but must admit that my favorite is still hard, heavy, metal! Love Disturbed, Halestorm, Avenged Sevenfold all that good loud angry stuff!! This card however is all about my daughter. She's been dancing for 11 years now and a few years back discovered that she loved tap.
She doesn't do Irish stepping (which I am amazed by) but does love tap. Hope everyone is having a good week, snowed a little bit here today nothing major, Angelina was disappointed she was hoping for another day off or early dismissal! Hugs.

Trying to get back to crafting!
So first we had Hurricane Sandy then a week later we had a nor'easter and had almost a foot of snow! Who thought living in Connecticut was a good idea! I'm trying to get back into the swing of things and get some crafting done! I did get a couple cards done today will post pics tomorrow but wanted to share a couple pictures of my fun day yesterday. My daughter and I headed to NYC with Mark's sister and his mom to see the Rockette's Christmas Spectacular. It was fantastic!
I have tomorrow off so hopefully I'll get some crafting done!

Thinking of You
So I'm still battling the plague and then we had hurricane Sandy! Our shoreline in Connecticut took an absolute beating so much devastation. I'm towards the middle of the State and while we lost power for a few days we were very fortunate. My folks who are just a couple miles away are hopefully going to get their power back tonight. We have had some unbelievable weather in the last year and I am hoping we get a break. My heart goes out to NYC, New Jersey and lower Connecticut it will be a very long recovery for these people. I did manage to get my card in for this week's challenge at The Stamping Boutique "Thinking of You"
I know you are probably thinking pig? I made this card for my dad to give to my mom. He likes to giver her cards at random times and the deal is he does work around my house that I need help with (mostly painting I hate painting) and I supply him with cards. I definitely have the better end of the deal! Hope everyone is having a good week, glad tomorrow is Friday this has been one long week.

Plague...
So my daughter very nicely infected me with some sort of school plague and I haven't left the house in four days, well that's a like I went to the doctor today to have her tell me I had a sinus infection and some bronchial thing. Fantastic. So hoping the drugs they gave me start to help I think the dog is getting sick of me taking over the couch. So even though I've been home for three days I'm late with my lastest challenge for The Stamping Boutique post. Halloween with pink!!
I love these little feets!! Colored with Copics the paper is really old Close To My Heart paper. Check out the latest challenge here!

Back To Monday
I blinked and this weekend was over and I didn't have any stamping time! My daughter has so nicely shared her plague with me, she's feeling better and I feel like a truck has run me over. Not sure if it's a cold or the flu but while I was awake for five minute I thought I would share a card with you.
This cutie is a digi from Whimsy and Stars that can be found on Etsy. Colored with Copics, the paper is Doodlebug. I hope you are having a better Monday than I am!
