70-90-65

We have the craziest weather in New England you would think that I would be used to it by now.  Today it was 70 Wednesday it's supposed to be almost 90 and Thursday maybe 65.  Crazy.  This was a miserable hot, muggy summer and I am so ready for it to be over.  Give me sweatshirts!!  I do love fall and I really love Halloween.

Cute digi stamp from Wee Stamps.  Colored with Copics, the paper is Doodlebug.  I always forget about my twine, wanted to attach a charm to it but realized I don't have any Halloween charms!  Hope everyone is good we are settling back into the school routine and dance started back up tonight.  The dog knows he gets to go to dance with us and he and I sit in the car and watch horror movies.  Well I watch he sleeps but he is happy to go!

Finally...a card!

I'm back.  I think it's the hot weather.  I don't like it, it makes me cranky and I think it makes me not want to do a darn thing.  So it's been much cooler the last two weeks and I'm a much happier person.  I'm off this week from work and today I dedicate the morning to making cards.  I made this card using High Hopes "Bearly Swooshin" and am entering it into two challenges High Hope's Red & Green Challenge and Cute Card Thursday's Button Up Challenge.  I hope everyone has had a great summer, can't believe school starts next week yay!!!!  Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.

Still No Crafts But Pretty Beach Pictures!

Still in a funk BUT we just got back from vacation (Eastham, Cape Cod) and I'm working on getting myself together again.  Thought I would share some of the prettiness.  I was meant to live near the ocean.

Sigh...I did not want to go back to work today.  Need to start working on my retirement plan. 

Worst Crafter Ever

I just realized it's been a month since my last post and I still don't have anything new to share.  Sigh...I just can't seem to get myself into my craft room.  I walk by and look at all the pretty things and then go sit on the couch like a log.  So I'd thought I'd share "something", "anything" lol!  So this is it...my splurge purchase.  I have wanted one of these dutch ovens forever and I finally treated myself.  So here it is:

Crafting Slump

At least once a year I go into a crafting "slump", I don't feel like doing anything crafty.  It seems to usually happen around this time of year, I don't know if it's because it's a particularly busy time of year or what the problem is but last night I had a little pep talk with myself and made sure I had time today to get into my craft room.  It's was nice to play with my markers again!

This cutie is a Wild Rose stamp, colored with Copics.  The paper is Bella Blvd (love them).  Not a fancy card just something to get me back in the swing of things!  Hope everyone is good and is enjoying a nice weekend.  Hugs - missed you all!

Gorgeous Sunday!

I wish the weather could be like it is today everyday!  Mark had baseball this morning it was so nice to sit in the sun.  Hope everyone had a good weekend, I was on a blue green kick!!

Sweetest Wee Suzi digi.  I love this paper I don't even know what line it is I have had it so long but this is the last of my bits and pieces of it that I had left.  Colored with Copics.  I punched out a bunch of the little flowers, the white sparkly flower was actually from a Christmas set, layered it with a felt flower and button.  I've had these cute colored safety pins forever and didn't really have a clue what to do with them and I saw something on Pinterest (of course lol) that had the beads on it and remembered how we used to do that and put them on our sneakers!!  Thanks for stopping by!

Spring?

We had a few days of gorgeous weather and then back to freezing nights - I am ready for some warm weather!  Lately it seems we go right from winter to summer.  So I mentioned last weekend I had been doing some different kind of crafts, I have become obsessed with felt!

As per usual back picture, tried outside this time!  So I made this heart ornament, I am terrible with using my sewing machine but I enjoy hand stitching these.  There is so much inspiration out there I have found some awesome stuff on Pinterest.  Hope you like it!

Quiet Saturday

I didn't realize it had been so long since my last post - it's been busy!  My daughter has a lovely stomach bug so she has been laying around for two days.  I feel so bad for her and I'm not going to lie I'm also hoping I don't get it!  So it's quiet here today, she's sleeping on and off and Mark is out working on a mower so I got to have some craft time!

I used this beauty of a Wee Stamps digi.  Colored with Copics, flowers are from Wild Orchid.  The lace is from my gram's house, when we cleaned it out I found some of her sewing stuff and this lace was in it.  Still struggling with photos, I bought another lamp and some Ott light bulbs and was basically standing on my head trying to get a clear shot.  Sigh....hope everyone is having a good weekend I have some new crafts to share with you but I think I'm going to head outside to get a good picture!  Will upload something later.  Hugs!!

Happy Easter, Passover!

I was lucky to have yesterday off so my plan to hide in my craft room all day which I did..sort of...I get "sidetracked" very easily and something got in my head that I needed to re-organize my buttons and brads.  I have about 15 of those plastic jewelry/bead storage containers.  So I decided to sort my buttons by color and put them in mason jars.  I enlisted my daughter and we spent a couple hours going through everything and I'm happy that everything is more organized.  I am a neat freak and it makes me happy to have organization!  So needless to say I didn't spend as much time crafting as I wanted to but I did get a couple cards done.

Love this sweetie from Sylvia Zet.  Colored with Copics, floral paper is Doddlebug.  The leaves I cut with my new Meadow Leaf die, flowers are Wild Orchid and the little corner piece and buckle are Close To My Heart (re-discovered them while organizing lol).  Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
