The Stamping Boutique Shaped Cards Challenge

This was another very challenging challenge for me!  I don't normally make anything other than square cards with the occasional rectangular card.  I used my Nesties to cut the circle card out.  Check out the Stamping Boutique Challenge Blog to see the other amazing projects the design team has created.

Colored this adorable Audrey with Copics, paper is Doodlebug as is the button at the center of the flowers.  Hope everyone is having a good week we are supposed to get some snow, we've been so spoiled with such a mild winter.

LOTV Mice

These little cuties are so cute!

Colored with Copics, paper is old Close To My Heart paper, flowers are Wild Orchid.  Hope everyone had a nice weekend.  I think we managed to work out all the details of the sale of our house and the purchase of the new house so if things continue to go well we will be moving at the end of March and I will finally be out of the basement and have a craft room!!!  Yay yay yay!!!!!  Have a good Monday everybody.

Crazy Animals

This is usually what I'm looking at when I'm at my "craft bar".  The cats line up and stare at me and try at random times to jump on the bar so they can sit on my lap.

The funny part is as soon as the camera came out they ALL turned around.  They are so fresh.  This is looking up the stairs - notice the crazy tiny Chihuahua at the top.  He doesn't go up and down the stairs and he gets so mad when they are on the stairs.  He stands at the top and paces and whines.

Penny Black Hedgie

This is one of my favorite hedgies by Penny Black.  Lately I've been using them more as they had been neglected!

Colored with Copics, added lots of Stickles to the flower.  I just picked up the EK border punch, I love swirls.  All flowers are from Wild Orchid.  I'm entering this in two challanges, Penny Black's "Pearls & Lace" and Cute Card Thursday's "Flower Power".  Hope everyone is having a good weekend.  Super happy to watch the Bud Shootout last night and watch my man Kyle win!!!  Hopefully this is a good sign for 2012.

The Stamping Boutique Challenge 26 Stitching

The new challenge is up at The Stamping Boutique!!  This challenge was a real challenge for me!  We had to stitch, faux or real.  The best boyfriend in the world Mark bought me a sewing machine two years ago because I just was in awe of the beautiful stitching that people were doing on cards.  Well I didn't take into account the fact that I am a complete idiot when it comes to operating a sewing machine.  This sewing machine has almost been put in the middle of the road more times than I can say.  So I decided that I was going to get some real stitches on my card if it killed me.  Believe it or not I have the hardest time winding that silly bobbin.  I had more thread all over the table, me, around the cats.  It was horrific.  Four days later I finally had a bobbin with thread on it and was able to actually sew on my card.  It's hard to see but I did a zig zag which actually was an accident I just didn't change the stitch.  I used this beautiful daisy digi and this card is going to be for my mom for her birthday/mother's day which are usually within days of each other.

Colored with Copics, put lots of Stickles on the flowers.  The daisy flower in the corner is from Wild Orchid.  Happy Thursday everyone!

Penny Black

Hope everyone had a good weekend.  We had a CRAZY weekend.  We ended up getting an offer on the house, after some negotiations we accepted an offer and then made an offer on a house we have been in love with since last year.  After some negotiations there we settled on a price, so fingers, toes and whatever else ya got that inspections go well and we should be moving in March!!!!!  I am so excited this house has a room that is going to be my craft room.  I am so excited to get out of the basement I can't even tell you.  Made this card this weekend.  This is a new acrylic set from Penny Black and I am entering in their Saturday Challenge "Love and Kisses"

Magnolia With Daisy

My favorite LSS (Inspiration Station, Stafford, CT) had a promo about a month ago that you could earn "money" for what you spent and it was redeemable at the end of January.  Well needless to say it was burning a hole in my pocket so off I went and picked up some Magnolia's.  This is one of three I bought.

Colored with Copics, paper I think is from a K & Company pack.  Added Stickles to the daisy.  Hope everyone had a good Monday.  I'm exhausted already trying to figure out how early is to early to go to bed!!!

Bugaboo Brat Digi

Still parked  on the couch watching the game now.  I did get up and do some laundry at least.   Thought I would post a second post today.

So these two cuties are a Bugaboo Brat digi.  I had been so good about picking my paper first and then coloring but I started coloring this one and just went with the colors and thought "I'm never going to find paper" but I did and I'm really happy with it.  Flowers are all Wild Orchid.  I'm entering this in Bugaboo's "Anything Goes" challenge and Stamp, Scrap and Doodle's Die Cut's challenge.  Go Giants!

High Hopes Cutie

Happy Sunday everybody.  We got all of our stuff done early so we can park ourselves on the couch and wait for some football.  I've lived in New England my entire life but I'm a Dolphins fan so I really don't care who wins tonight but I am going to hope the Giants do because my dad is a die hard fan.  Got to spend most of yesterday in my craft area.  Made this card using an older High Hopes stamp.

Colored with Copics.  Paper was scraps, ribbon is Close to my Heart and the buttons are from Doodlebug.  I'm entering this in two challenges, High Hopes Pink, Pink and more Pink and Cute Card Thursday's Buttons and Bows (bows are on her shoes which I added Stickles to).  Enjoy your day!

I love the Aj's and Audrey's.  Colored AJ with Copics, the heart in the corner is a Sizzix that I ordered through Stampin Up.  Hard to see but it's embossed with tiny little hearts.  Here are the "rules" to particpate in our challenges:
